Most of you won't read this but for those who will:

I am 17 years old and I have a passion for art and science. I am continuously wondering how I may incorporate both aspirations into my career but I have yet to have such luck.

I am a neophyte in Buddhism, recently involving myself in its philosophies, and it has been a wonderful journey becoming who I am today. I have more patience and love those around me and there is less drama in my life because I realize life is suffering but I shouldn't allow that to be my crutch to weigh me down. I have learned so much and I would like to thank my friend, Tyler aka "Buddha" (a sobriquet many had come to know him by), for introducing me to Buddhism and its virtues.

I am also a lacto-ova vegetarian as of August 2007. I desire to become a vegan but due to my family's unemployment and low income when employed, it is unlikely for me to become one until I have excavated from my home. Meat and soy products in Arkansas are expensive as it is, so I try not to burden them too much for the time being.
